Blogging--technical help please!
Geepers, I'm just spewing it out tonight! Ok, so I really AM going to go to bed asap.
But I need help! All y'all who have blogs seem to do all this formatting & links, and I just don't believe that you're writing the html yourself...maybe you are. that's what I'm doing (haven't done it since about '97--check out this page from a long while ago). Help!
Plus y'all have the list of other people's blogs, and your favorite movies & such--i'm clearly missing something obvious about how to set stuff up. I do that though. And so I ask for help to find the obvious--what are friends for, right?
so gather up all your blogging technical tips and send'em my way!
g'night.

I'm also trying to figure it out, but you seem to be able to post photos on the site using the hello tool from picasa. In blogger, click on edit profile, and there's a link next to the photo option which directs you to hello, which you need to download. The directions are surprisingly opaque for a google-owned application, but it only takes a little bit of time to figure out. Okay, maybe an hour.
Heya. The profile photo can be updated on the Blogger Dashboard page, under "Edit (User) Profile."
As far as HTML goes -- yep, you can tweak the template however you want. I even included a navigation bar on mine, to group a few blogs together, so it works like a mini content management system, i.e. every section of my website is a separate blog.
In the template, you can add third-party stuff like blogrolling, referrers list, and a StatCounter. Go crazy!
